Hi, my name is Leggenda, I’m the designer and creator of Leggenda bags.

My bags are based on a mix of Italian chic and typical English style where practicality is very much at the core of each item. I'm English/Italian and grew up splitting my time on both sides of the Med.  I love Italian leather and have always seen tweed as quintessentially British and have combined the two in some of my collections. The tweed is Shetland wool and is from the beautiful array of Tarra’s Tweed Collection at Elliott’s Shed in Scotland. I love colour, especially muted rich tones that evoke feelings of sumptuousness, luxury and comfort. The Swedish concept of 'Lagom' (just the right amount) is what resonates with me. 

I am committed to being as ethically and environmentally friendly as possible with sustainability yet longevity in mind, and hope my bags stand the test of time. 

I am completely self-taught and there have been many hours spent designing the right combinations for my collections and choosing the right colours and fabrics to make 'lagom' bags.

Everything is made by me in my little studio with time spent on each detail from choosing the fabrics, cutting the patterns and assembling the bags with their complementary handles and closures. I love the process and am honoured when someone likes them too and makes a purchase. I look forward to making, packing, and posting something from my collection just for you.
